Why I’m doing this
I learned carpentry
as a young man.
I never stopped.
I swung a hammer when I was young — back then I could do it hanging from a second-story rafter. Building and fixing things with wood stayed with me ever since, as the thing I did because I loved it, not because it was my job.
Then came the career — years of screens and meetings. And when that wound down, I realized I didn’t want to retire. I wanted to stay active, work with my hands, and do something useful for people nearby.
That’s why I’m starting JustFix Wood. I fix exterior wood — decks, fences, railings, stairs, sheds, play systems. The small problems most contractors don’t want to deal with. That’s the whole list.
The Founding Customer Program is how I’m getting started: ten homeowners who get my best price, my fastest scheduling, and a free inspection — and whose before-and-after photos show the next ten what the work looks like. If you’ve got a repair you’ve been putting off, this is the moment.
